Enterprise Forensic Data Platform
Led the greenfield design and implementation of an enterprise data platform for forensic research in collaboration with Solution Architects and Enterprise Architects. Built a modular platform using Snowflake, dbt, and Dagster with a custom medallion architecture tailored to forensic workflows. The platform's strength lies in business integration: domain experts drive use cases while custom tooling auto-generates dbt models, Great Expectations tests, and data marts from high-level specifications. Implemented data catalog, AI model catalog, and automated data quality frameworks. Our team drove the enterprise architecture, cross-system integrations, and data strategy that enabled researchers to focus on forensic analysis while the platform handles code generation, quality controls, and governance automatically.
Real-time Auction Pricing Platform
Built an event-driven ML platform for the world's largest flower auction, processing millions of daily transactions. Replaced overnight batch processing with real-time streaming architecture using AWS Lambda, Kinesis, and Spark on EMR. Airflow orchestrates continuous micro-batch workflows that retrain pricing models every 15 minutes. The platform improved pricing accuracy by reducing prediction variance and enabled automatic scaling to new product categories through config-driven automation.
Enterprise Data Lake Architecture
Architected an Enterprise Data Lake on Azure for one of Europe's largest banks, centralizing 200+ data sources across 40+ business domains. Built a Python-based self-service onboarding framework that generates infrastructure (ADF pipelines, Databricks transformations, Terraform configs) from YAML configuration files. Reduced onboarding time from weeks to hours through automation. The platform uses medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold) with Unity Catalog for governance and supports both SQL analysts and data scientists.
